I found this dumb archer fish (Toxotes jaculatrix) choked to death on one of its tankmates. And neither fish came cheap, damnit. Toxos are opportunistic hunters, grabbing anything they can. They've got specially adapted mouths to shoot accurate jets of water to bring down whatever hapless bug that may pass above the water and gobble it down in a quick munch. Hence they've got big mouths.

But not big enough, appareantly.
